Operations of ACCP

Aggies Child Care center is dedicated to providing excellence in childcare and education for children six weeks to twelve years of age. The facility provides educational activities that include a program based on Mother Goose Time activities and the Calvert Curriculum. Along with the curriculum are Arts & Crafts, Bible, Music, Computer, Story-time, Large muscles and small muscles activities, Outdoor play, trips, parent/child events and more! Aggie's Childcare & Preschool's mission is to educate young children academically, while seeking to foster the physical, social-emotional and cognitive development of young children; provide health/nutrition and parent/community involvement programs; develop new links and maintain and extend existing ones between Aggie's Childcare & Preschool and the community. The components of the Aggie Childcare & Preschool provides a supportive environment in which both parent and child benefit. We offer extended care, public school closings, early dismissal, summer camp and yearly youth retreats.

The program is open five days per week during the hours of 6:30 A.M. to 6:00pm. Our Edgewood Street location serves parents from 3:00pm to 11:00 P.M. We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and three snacks daily. All parents must sign their child in and out daily any unknown quest must show identification when picking up a child. The Childcare is a member of the YMCA Family Childcare Network, Child and Adult Food care Program, National Association of Family Day Care Providers, National Association of Education of Youth children, West Philadelphia Childcare Network, and many others. Our Edgewood Street location is nationally accredited and is in The Keystone Stars Program and has a star 4 rating. Our New Location located at 107 Long Lang has now entered into the Keystone Stars program. The program accepts subsidy from CCIS, DPW, DHS and other various organizations.
