Toddlers are learning to be independent and want to explore world on their own. Toddlers learn through hands on experiences and they use their senses to help them understand. Language development has progressed and they now use words and phrases to express their wants and needs. In this stage of development toddler are learning self discovery and making friends. ACCP program allows for social- emotional, cognitive, language and motor development through various interactive activities.
Social - They enjoy making friends and learning bout themselves. Activities are designed to provide opportunities for social interaction, self awareness.
Cognitive- The toddler learn hands on activities that promote brain development. The toddler program offers music, sorting, sequencing, counting, memory, stories, songs, art and more.
Language-The toddler program allows for parent/child reading activity. Books are use daily as well as the 15 week book challenge. Through this program the children enjoy reading with their parents and friends. Toddler begin to learn to identify their names and follow directions.
Motor - Toddlers participate in Gymbero, music and movement, hand/eye coordination, and balancing.
Fine Arts - Toddlers explore the world of the arts. They participate in music, songs, dance, drama, and instrumental learning. They learn to become little Picasso's through the introduction of all forms of art making. They draw, color, paint, etc.
